Dapper started in 2016 with a simple problem — we wanted well-made dress shoes we could actually walk in. Shoes that didn’t need a special occasion, didn’t demand a break-in period, and didn’t fall apart after two seasons.
Every pair is made in small batches at our workshop in Okhla, New Delhi. Full-grain leather that softens to your foot over time. Rubber soles built for real streets. We don’t do seasonal collections or trend chasing. Just shoes worth keeping.

I see all your formal shoes have rubber soles. Why are you not providing leather sole as an option. I feel that is heart of a good shoe and you have taken that away and providing a (a cheap - not in real sense and I am sure you will understand what I am saying) alternative.

Why Dapper
The leather
We use full-grain calfskin from established tanneries — the top layer of the hide, untouched. It scuffs, it creases, it develops. That’s the point. A pair of Dapper shoes looks better at three years than it does on day one.
